Since 1964, Agapitos family is involved in shipping and in 2019 they founded Alpha Lines to offer to the passengers a new way of travelling between Piraeus and Argosaronikos. Their modern passenger speed boat, SPEED CAT 1 was introduced in 2020 and travels you from the port of Piraeus to Hydra, Spetses and Poros islands.  Alpha Lines, is the first ferry company  that has introduced the luggage check in. Before embarkation, you receive a luggage tag that you can store in a safe room so you don’t have to carry your bulky luggage with you while travelling. 

It’s a pet-friendly ship, and there is an open sundeck that can seat 30 passengers. There, you can seat with your pet outside their bag or crate. Also, this ship has satellite WiFi, making Alpha Lines the only ferry company to offer this feature. On board, there is also Business Class lounge area that offers passengers privacy and more comfort.
